Almost right when i walked in, the dentist called my name (she's really fast, or we're just late all the time :P ), walking back, i really wasn't nervous. when they started it honestly didn't hurt. the only part that kinda bothered me was when they took out the spacers and the fact that they had to make sure my mouth was REALLY dry. When they actually started puting the braces on and stuff, i had my eyes closed almost the whole time. NOT BECAUSE I WAS SCARED THOUGH!!! it was just because when i go to the dentist, i often let my mind wander. closing my eyes helps me wander :D the first time i closed my mouth with my braces in, i knew it was gonna be one of the weirdest feelings my mouth had ever felt. i got a smoothie and two shirts after we left the dentist though, that made me happy :D i also got a waterpik (replacement for regular flossers) it's really funny :) it sprays a jet of water to clean (or floss) in between your teeth. i got wet when i used it :) i also got a nice mechanical tooth brush, although i really don't like mechanical tooth brushes. i find them loud and annoying :P i was totally, sooper excited about my braces, but i guess i don't like adapting :P well, i'm about to go to sleep with braces for the first time. i bet it's gonna feel WEIRD. :)
